Suka nabbed his first raccoon this morning when we were on our way down Sugarloaf Mountain. His prey drive is strong. He ran with the coon in his mouth for about 100 feet and then I had to put him on the leash and he dropped it. We hit Sugarloaf and then ran the Spring Run Trail.
I had a good weekend working on the house, Mountain biking, hanging with the family, and Cara and I finished our first week of insanity training. We are beginning to restore the woodwork in our house to English Chestnut. It is going to look great, but it is going to be a lot of work. Oh Well, we have the rest of our lives to finish it.
One time Kahru and I were out running and she nabbed a squirrel somehow, she proceeded to carry it the 2.5 miles back to the house. She was proud of her kill.
